The Korg ARP Odyssey is now scheduled to start shipping
from retailers on March 18, 2015.
I would image that this date is based upon whether Korg meets their internal
timeline to have the synths in the hands of the retailers shipping departments
by that date.

Korg has released the new Korg ARP Odyssey today
Here is the info I have been able to glean so far.
It should start shipping mid- February.
The Korg Arp Odyssey will be in the Mark III version, with the Orange on Black
design. It was downsized in all aspects 14%. It will have a switch so the user
can switch between the 4023 filter (Whiteface 2800), the 4035 filter (Gold and
Black 2810 and 2813), and the 4075 filter (the rest).
Korg will be producing a limited number of the synth in the Whiteface and Gold
on Black.
The Whiteface limited edition will only be sold by Sweetwater Sound.
The Gold on Black limited edition will only be sold by Guitar Center.
If you want either of the special editions, you need to order from those places.
The MAP is $999.00, and there are no upcharges for the limited edition models.

We were finally able to get contact with Korg on
their new Korg ARP Odyssey by way of Facebook. I hope to have a discussion with
them soon and maybe some new info on the Korg ARP Odyssey synth. |

The Korg reissue of the Arp Odyssey is rumored to
be unveiled at NAMM 2015 in Anaheim, CA. There are also rumors that Behringer is
thinking about releasing an ARP Odyssey style synth as well. We will see. |
